LANSING – State Representative Mike Lahti (D-Hancock) will hold office hours at a variety of locations this month and next.
"I encourage residents to come and discuss issues with me that are important to them," Lahti said. "Hearing directly from my constituents about their concerns enables me to better represent the interests of the western Upper Peninsula in the Michigan Legislature and use the resources of my office to help make dealing with any of our state departments quicker and easier."
The office hours will take place:
- From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. (ET) on Saturday, June 27, at the Powell Township Hall, located at 101 Benzinger Ave. in Big Bay
- From 10 a.m. to noon (ET) on Monday, July 6, in the Village of L'Anse Council Room, located at 101 W. Main St. in Baraga County
- From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (CT) on Monday, July 6, at the Iron River City Hall, located at 106 W. Genesee St. in Iron County
- From 10 a.m. to noon (ET) on Tuesday, July 7, at the Ontonagon County Courthouse, located at 725 Greenland Road in Ontonagon County
- From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (CT) on Tuesday, July 7, at the Gogebic Community College, Room 118, located at E 4946 Jackson Road in Ironwood
- From 10 a.m. to noon (ET) on Wednesday, July 8, at Allouez Township Hall, located at 102 Second St. in Keweenaw County
- From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (ET) on Thursday, July 9, on the fifth floor of the Houghton County Courthouse, located at 401 E. Houghton Ave. in Houghton
