LANSING – State Representative Mike Lahti (D-Hancock) today announced his committee assignments for the 95th legislative session of the Michigan House of Representatives. Lahti has been selected to serve as a member of the Appropriations Committee where he will serve on the following Subcommittees: Capital Outlay (Chairman), Natural Resources (Chairman) and General Government (Vice Chairman), as well as a member of the Corrections Subcommittee.
"I am thankful for the opportunity to serve the Western Upper Peninsula in Lansing," Lahti said. "We face serious challenges in the upcoming year. There is a lot of work to do. I am confident that with hard work and fiscal responsibility we can overcome the challenges and move Michigan forward."
