LANSING – With several fall hunting seasons already underway and archery deer season right around the corner, Rep. Mike Lahti (D-Hancock) today announced the release of his 2007 Fall Outdoor Guide. The guide is made available online in order to provide an overview of season dates, hunting information, and hunter safety reminders.
"In the Upper Peninsula, hunting, whether it is with rifle, shotgun, or bow, is an essential part of our character and shared heritage, as well as an important component of our Upper Peninsula economy," said Lahti. "I hope that the information I have compiled in my 2007 Fall Outdoor Guide will be useful to hunters as they go after game this autumn. May the fall hunting season prove to be a safe and successful one for all hunters as they take to the fields and forests of the western Upper Peninsula."
